Verifica di autenticità

Ogni opera originale di Aston F. Deane è associata a un codice crittografico SHA-256, registrato nell’archivio ufficiale dell’autore e riportato sul Certificato di Autenticità.

La verifica dell’autenticità richiede l’uso della USB originale fornita insieme all’opera.

Procedura di verifica

  1. Inserire la USB originale nel computer.
  2. Aprire la USB (doppio clic sull’unità esterna visualizzata dal sistema).
  3. Avviare il file:
    VERIFY_AUTHENTICITY.bat
    (su Windows potrebbe essere richiesto di confermare l’esecuzione).
  4. Il tool di verifica si aprirà automaticamente nel browser.
  5. Inserire il codice dell’opera (es. VC-007-2025).
  6. Caricare il Certificato di Autenticità (PDF) e l’immagine originale dell’opera (JPG).

Il sistema confronterà:

  • hash pubblicato nell’archivio ufficiale dell’autore
  • hash presente nel certificato PDF
  • hash incorporato nei metadati dell’immagine JPG

Se i codici SHA-256 coincidono, l’opera risulta autentica. Al termine viene generato un report di verifica .

Senza la USB originale non è possibile avviare il tool di verifica.

Authenticity verification

Each original artwork by Aston F. Deane is associated with a SHA-256 cryptographic hash, recorded in the artist’s official archive and included in the Certificate of Authenticity.

Authenticity verification requires the original USB drive supplied with the artwork.

Verification procedure

  1. Insert the original USB drive into your computer.
  2. Open the USB drive (double-click the external drive shown by the system).
  3. Launch the file:
    VERIFY_AUTHENTICITY.bat
    (Windows may ask you to confirm script execution).
  4. The verification tool will automatically open in your browser.
  5. Enter the artwork code (e.g. VC-007-2025).
  6. Upload the Certificate of Authenticity (PDF) and the original artwork image (JPG).

The system compares:

  • the hash published in the artist’s official archive
  • the hash contained in the PDF certificate
  • the hash embedded in the JPG metadata

If the SHA-256 hashes match, the artwork is confirmed as authentic. A verification report is generated at the end.

Verification cannot be performed without the original USB drive.
